An Offer You Can't Refuse By US Gov't

Recently, we as Americans, suddenly acquired "an offer you cannot refuse" in the form of mandatory health care. At a site called, The Freedom Medium, it was compared to the stand by Davey Crockett, Jim Bowie, Colonel Travis and about 180 more who fought terrific odds and lost. Similarly,the Battle of the Alamo and the battle over government-run health care involved a small group versus insurmountable odds. Originally, the opposition at the Alamo amounted to roughly 170 with 32 reinforcements coming in from Gonzales,Texas, immediately after the several thousand Mexican soldiers arrived. In the U.S. House of Representatives, each of the 178 Republicans voted against the Senate’s version of a health care drastic Draconian overhaul bill with 34 Democrat reinforcements banding together with them.

In a similar fashion, the Republicans in our bicameral Congress steadfastly backed by the majority of American people have held back the ravages of the juggernaught Democrat coalition hell bent health care assault for about 13 months, just as there were 13 days of seige at the Alamo.

In a sadly similar fashion, the overwhelming odds at the Alamo from the lop-sided fight resulted in eventual defeat, as was the consequence of the passage of health care travesty so-called reform and the inevitable vote count. The defenders of the republic lacked enough supporters in office to fight off this legislation and the shameless, Chicago-style bribery, threats, and coertive machinations of the White House and Democrat mis-leadership; we got beaten to a pulp.

Now out alternatives are attorneys-general of many states pressing lawsuits and the fickle sloths at the Supreme Court who have sat on this for over a week now, this being March 20,2010. It is a hell of a note to depend on the SCOTUS for anything, given the fact that 1/2 skew any righteous result with their biased liberality.
G_d Save the Republic...the Supreme Court most likely will not lift a finger.
